Well, there is a new orthodontic system that makes straightening your teeth with braces a lot faster and easier compared to conventional orthodontic treatment. It's called SureSmile and it's changing the way people feel about their braces.

Suresmile System

This system of digital diagnostic software helps doctors measure, visualize, and treat patients faster and more accurately. Traditional "orthodontics" uses generic brackets and wires to align teeth to a general position. At this point in treatment the personalization of your smile is traditionally done by your orthodontist, hand-bending the wires to put your teeth in the final positions. Human eyes are the measuring gauge and the doctor is then “eyeing” bends into the wire to attain final tooth positions. To eliminate this trial and error, we now use digital technology.

Your teeth are now scanned, and the scans are transformed to 3D computer images which allows Advanced Orthodontics to accurately measure and preset the best fit of your teeth three dimensionally. This is accurate to literal 10th’s of millimeters. Then to preserve the accuracy of this digital treatment plan, your doctor orders a prescription of your final teeth positions which are digitized for a robot. The robot then bends your wires using heat and electric current to modify your finishing wires.

And because your customized active wires should be as comfortable as possible, they are active at mouth temperature, thus are easier to put inside your mouth. Robotically bent wires are simply the most accurate and provide the shortest pathway to a truly personalized smile.
